Michael - Machine Learning and AI Tutor

Michael is now doing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence for Healthcare at Imperial College London, focusing on Medical Imaging, MRI, and Image Reconstruction. In 2019, he received the highest grade in his course for a joint Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Exeter, and a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence at ICL with a final score of more than 80%.

Tutoring Experience

Michael is well-versed in most bachelor-level Mathematics, Advanced Computing, Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. He has been tutoring high-school level Maths for over 8 years and has taught basic programming to a high-school class. His teaching technique is quite methodical, covering things repeatedly to gain a better and better understanding of each topic progressively. While somewhat strict, Michael has always received positive feedback from all his tutoring experiences.
Michael specialises in Machine Learning and AI, with a strong emphasis on the healthcare industry. In vivo Diffusion Tensor Cardiac Magnetic Resonance (DT-CMR) provides a means for non-invasive interrogation of the 3D microarchitecture of the beating heart, which no other clinical test allows. This unique and innovative technology offers great potential to improve clinical diagnosis through novel microstructural and functional assessment but currently needs to be more efficient. Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms will be developed and combined with SMS DT-CMR to minimise/remove interslice leakage artefacts and pave the way for DT-CMR clinical translation.
